Power in the Blood
Do you need greater power in your struggle against the forces of darkness? In the Book of Revelation Yochanon (John) tells us there is power in our testemonies and in the blood of the Lamb. What are these powers? How can they help us overcome in our struggles? Rabbi Jim reveals the source and application of these powers in this teaching from Parashah Tetzaveh (You Shall Command) Exodus 27:20 - 30:10, given March 3, 2012.

Warfare Dream
Does life feel like a battle? According to the Bible it is. We are struggling with spiritual forces that our physical eyes cannot see. But, part of the power of the New Covenant is the ability to discern the spirits warring against us. In this message, Rebbetzin Andrea Rogers and Elder Kathy Turiano teach about a dream of Andrea's that revealed a spiritual enemy in our midst. Given on February 11, 2012

Shabbat Shalom
Each Shabbat when we greet each other by saying Shabbat Shalom we are wishing each other shalom. But, what is the real meaning of shalom, where does it come from and how do we get it and hold onto it? In this teaching, given on February 25, 2012, Rabbi Jim answers these questions. He refers back to his previous teaching on Shabbat, called Shabbat Manna which was given on February 4, 2012 and is also available on this podcast site.

Shabbat Manna
February 4, 2012. Rabbi Jim teaches from Parashah B'shelakh (He Sent) Exodus 13:17-17:16 focusing on chapter 16 where the people of Israel were tested by G-d concerning food and rest. The tests concering rest contain the first instrucitons in the Torah for keeping Shabbat and reveal the great love of G-d for His people as well as His great understanding of human nature. Isaiah's instruction that "we delight in the Shabbat" is discussed and the real meaning of Shabbat as a sign. Rabbi Jim concludes with an explanation of how the Messianic Movement is called to restore Shabbat.

Prayer
January 7, 2012 Judith Benhamou teaches on prayer. In this compacted teaching on a very broad subject, you will learn about the basics of what prayer is and discover that the patterns and progression of prayer and worship in the Tenakh show us how we might enter into prayer today. There is a correlation between how Yeshua taught his followers to pray in Matthew 6:9 and the ancient sacrifices in Leviticus. This teaching begins with the how to's and ends us with a challnege to practice Yeshua's example and to "stand, believe and yeild" in prayer.

As A Sign On Your Hand
January 28, 2012 Rabbi Ben teaches from Parashah Bo (Go) Exodus 10:1 - 13:16. He gives a new understanding of the phrase "a sign on your hand and frontlets between your eyes". Looking deeper at the story of the Ten Plagues, we gain a greater understanding of what it must have been like to live through and bear witness to such judgments of G-d. With this understanding we gain new light on why G-d gave us the Passover to be a sign of his power and glory. Rabbi Ben then takes this understanding and brings it to look at our own lives to see how we can take our own testimonies of G-d love toward us, especially through the Messiah, to be a constant sign to others.
